解析

【句型】take place 固定片語「舉行/發生」,表示「帕運也在跟奧運相同的城市舉行」;taken turns(輪流)、taken off(起飛/脫下)、taken over(接管)都不合。

take place 你背過「舉行、發生」,真正麻煩的是它旁邊那一串長得很像的片語:take one's place(就座、就定位)、take the place of(取代)、take turns(輪流),看到四個都以 taken 開頭的選項,記憶很容易互相干擾。

The Paralympic Games have always been held in the same year as the Olympic Games(帕運一直與奧運在同一年舉行)。

taken turns(輪流)與「在同一個城市」正好相反,而且 take turns 後面通常接 V-ing 或 to V(They take turns driving. taken off 是「起飛、脫下、突然大受歡迎」,主詞是飛機、衣物或某個事物,與 in the same city 搭不上。

take place(舉行、發生)、be held(被舉辦)、take turns(輪流)、take over(接管)、take off(起飛;脫下)、in the same year as(與……
