題目編號:G98_17_1(已自動幫你填到回報表單裡)🚩 回報這題有問題

解析

occur to sb 意為「(想法)浮現在某人腦中」,主詞是想法、受詞是人:有一天 Art Fry 想到一個點子;come up with 的主詞必須是人,主客顛倒,threw at(朝…扔)與 looked down upon(瞧不起)語意也不合。

深入解析

答對率 36%。

你可能會這樣想

要說「想到一個點子」,你第一個想到的一定是 come up with。但問題在主詞:come up with 的主詞必須是人(Art Fry came up with an idea.),本句的主詞卻是 an idea、受詞才是人,主客剛好顛倒。

occur to 的主詞是想法

If a thought occurs to you, it comes into your mind. 常見句型是 It occurred to me that…(我忽然想到…)。同一組的還有 strike:That was when the thought struck him.(他就是在那時想到的)。記法:occur to/strike 的主詞是「想法」;come up with/think of 的主詞是「人」。

常考字詞與句型

an idea occurs to sb(某人想到一個點子)、It occurs to sb that…(某人忽然想到…)、a thought strikes sb(某人腦中閃過一個念頭)、come up with an idea(想出點子)。
